1. What we set
One cookie: NEXT_LOCALE. It stores which interface language you chose, so the site opens in that language next time. It contains a language code such as "en" or "cs" and nothing else.
2. Why there is no consent banner
A cookie that only remembers a preference you actively expressed is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, and under the ePrivacy Directive it does not require consent. We set nothing else, so there is nothing to ask you about.
3. What we do not set
No analytics cookies. No advertising or retargeting cookies. No third-party trackers, social plugins or pixels. Your browsing here is not measured or shared.
4. Local storage
The service worker that makes OneWord installable stores a copy of pages and assets in your browser's cache so the app opens without a connection. This stays on your device and is not sent anywhere. Clearing site data removes it.
5. Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the language cookie only means the site will not remember your language choice.
6. Changes
If a cookie that is not strictly necessary is ever introduced, a consent mechanism will be introduced with it, in the same release, and this page will list it.
