1. Controller

2. The short version
OneWord has no contact form and no analytics. You can read without telling us anything; after a number of days of use we ask you to register, and the only thing we ask for is an email address — we send a sign-in link to it and nothing else. We do not ask for your name, we build no profile of you, and we sell nothing. The table below is complete: if something is not in it, we do not collect it.
3. What we collect and exactly why
This table is exhaustive. If it is not listed here, OneWord does not collect it.

4. Who else touches the data
Scaleway SAS (France, EU — hosting the app and the database, and sending operational alerts to our own technical mailbox; the alerts contain technical identifiers only, never your personal data) and BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia, EU — the content delivery network and DNS in front of the site: your browser talks to its edge first, so it sees your IP address and the page you request, nothing more; EU visitors are served from EU nodes). Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may not use anything for its own purposes. Where processing happens outside the EEA it relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We use no analytics provider, no advertising network and no AI provider on your data.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), uoou.gov.cz. Because we hold no account, most requests will be answered by confirming that we hold nothing about you.
6. Children
The service suits a general audience and does not knowingly collect data from children — because it collects no identifying data from anyone.
7. If you decline everything — the honest trade-off
There is nothing to decline, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. OneWord sets no optional cookies, so there is no consent banner to click away: beyond what is technically necessary to serve the page, we track nothing — no analytics, no profiles, no ads. What you give up by clearing your browser is real, though: your streak lives only in that browser and dies with it. The account we ask for after a number of days needs only an email address, and the table above says so; if we later add sync, it will be opt-in and listed there first.
8. Changes
Accounts exist since version 1.4 (one row in the table above: your email address). If OneWord introduces learning history sync or notifications, that release will state exactly what is collected, why, on what legal basis and for how long — in the table above, before the feature is available.
